CAPT. David C. Karczewski - Fighter Pilot (K-9)

David C. Karczewski pilot

Dave Karczewski from Tampa, Florida, graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Engineering Sciences and was commissioned in the United States Air Force through the ROTC program.

 

Upon graduation in 1984, he was assigned to Williams AFB, Arizona to complete pilot training. He was then assigned to MacDill AFB Florida for F-16 training and was cited as a Distinguished Graduate. His operational assignments include Torrejon AB, Spain and Hill AFB, Utah.

While stationed at Hill, he and his squadron flew in the Gulf War during Operations DESERT SHIELD/STORM. He flew 25 combat missions over Iraq, receiving three Air Medals. After returning from the war, he spent two years as an F-16 instructor at MacDill AFB, FL.

Captain Kaczynski has accumulated more that 2,000 flight hours with over 1,600 hours in the F-16.
